Chapter 22. JDBC Reference

The java.sql package contains the entire JDBC API. It first became part of the core Java libraries with the 1.1 release. Classes new as of JDK 1.2 are indicated by the “Availability” header. Deprecated methods are preceded by a hash (#) mark. New JDK 1.2 methods in old JDK 1.1 classes are shown in bold. Figure 22.1 shows the entire java.sql package.
