14.1. Stop, Analyze, and Resume

During an SAP stress test, it's quite tempting to simply execute different test runs back to back as hastily as possible, because the days grow long pretty quickly, and anything that looks like it can speed up matters often seems like a good idea. Although this approach isn't entirely without merit, my experience has shown me time and again that I actually burn up less time overall when I practice a testing method I call “stop, analyze, and resume.” Consider the following:
