Chapter 11. Preparing for Test Week

As we near “test week” or simply get closer to the time set aside to perform our load testing and tuning, there are a number of activities that first must be concluded. A more complete test infrastructure needs to be installed and configured, for instance, as do the testing and monitoring tools that will be used. Valid data (or harder yet, data combinations) may still need to be mined. Test scripts written to this point still need to undergo progressively intense multiuser testing prior to locking down individual test cases.
