Find Facebook Friends
To view someone’s posts in your News Feeds, you first have to become “friends” with that person. A Facebook friend can be anyone—a neighbor, co-worker, family member, someone you used to go to school with. For someone to become your Facebook friend, you first have to send them a friend request. (Then they have to accept your request, of course.)
