5. Sending Email and Instant Messages
Your Galaxy Tab makes it easy for you to read and respond to email messages when you’re on the go. Before you start, though, you need to configure your email account(s) using standard protocols, such as POP and IMAP, or connect with more proprietary systems such as Exchange and Yahoo!. Then you need to learn how to use the built-in Email app.
Email isn’t the only way to communicate. The Galaxy Tab also contains a built in Messaging app so you can configure your instant message settings to communicate using standard text message (SMS) and multimedia message (MMS) services.
