Additional Ideas for Saving Web Pages
With so many ways to save information off the Internet, you’ll always be able to organize information to access it again and again. One unique way to use the information you find is to have your Macintosh read text to you.
Just save a web page to a PDF file and open that PDF file using the Preview program. Highlight any text that you want to hear, right-click over your selected text, and select Add to iTunes as Spoken Track. Now you’ll be able to read along while hearing your Mac read the text back to you. This can be especially fun to do with young children to help them learn to read, or it can be helpful as a way to read text and then refresh your memory later by listening to the text read aloud.
