Additional Ideas for Using the Menu Bar
The menu bar gives you easy access to the commands you can use to control a program. The first time you use a program, browse through its menus to see how commands are grouped. Commands should be grouped logically to make them easy to find. For example, the Macintosh's Window menu contains commands for manipulating multiple windows on the screen, while the Edit menu contains commands for copying or pasting items.
The menu bar is also useful for identifying the active program. When you have multiple applications running and you're not sure which application the commands on the menu bar will affect, look for the name of the program next to the Apple menu.
