Connecting to the Internet

Your iPhone can connect to the Internet through a Wi-Fi network or through your cellular company's network (see Project 31 for more on connecting to Wi-Fi). Connecting through a Wi-Fi network is much faster than connecting through your cell phone service. The one significant drawback to Wi-Fi is that you must be within range of a Wi-Fi network to use it, and you may need to enter a password to access that network. If the Wi-Fi network to which you're trying to connect isn't yours and it's protected by a password you don't know, you won't be able to connect.
