Using Safari's Keyboard

The virtual keyboard appears whenever you need to type text in any program, such as typing names and addresses in the Contacts program or names of videos you want to watch in the YouTube screen.

When typing a website address in Safari, the virtual keyboard appears in a slightly different way to help you type website addresses more easily. The most prominent difference is the .com key, which lets you type the common .com extension at the touch of a single button rather than typing the period and the letters com in four separate key taps.
