Deleting Messages

The more messages you receive, the more you’ll likely need to delete messages to keep your Inbox folder from overflowing with too many messages. To delete messages, you can delete them individually or select multiple messages and delete them all at once.

To delete a message, follow these steps:

1. Follow all the steps in Reading Email on page 96 to view the message you want to delete.

2. Tap the Delete icon at the top of the screen. The currently displayed message gets moved to the Trash folder.

3. (Optional) To delete multiple messages, tap the Edit button to display radio buttons to the left of each message. Tap the radio button of each message you want to delete and then tap the Trash button at the bottom of the screen.
