A cell phone is like a computer: Only a well-maintained system will provide a positive user experience. By updating the operating system’s software from time to time, you will get new functions and security updates. Apple is well-known for having new functions come out when an update is required. So, it’s not just for reasons of security that you should make sure you always have the most up-to-date version of iOS installed on your devices.
To update iOS 5 on your iPhone, there are two different approaches. One is via iTunes, and the other method takes place directly on your iPhone. The magic phrase is over-the-air update. In other words, you update via Wi-Fi.
