You’ve probably heard it said that writing is a solitary effort, and I suppose that’s true, to a point. While I’m writing the paragraphs you read here, I’m sitting at my desk, with only my cat Maya for company. But after I finish writing, a whole group of people have a part in making the book as good as it can be. And this collaboration is one of my favorite parts of the whole process.
