7.7. Conclusions

As SoCs become increasingly complex, the on-chip communication architecture is expected to become more and more critical from the point of view of system performance, energy consumption, and battery life. In this chapter, we provided an overview of techniques for designing communication architectures for high-performance, energy-efficient system-on-chips.
