Abstract

A number of different approaches are taken to tree domestication and genetic improvement, but little appropriate research has been done on agroforestry tree species, especially those producing useful and marketable products (AFTPs). A new approach to developing clonal cultivars using simple vegetative propagation techniques is proving promising.
