This book is about making multiobjective decisions under uncertainty. It describes how to structure and solve these types of problems using spreadsheets. The techniques and examples used in this book cover the use of multiple evaluation measures, discrete and continuous value and utility functions, preference weights, and expected value and utility calculations.
Given the focus of this book, there is little emphasis on the development of decision trees to represent decision situations; however, this structure still underlies these decisions.
