About the Author

Tom Nadeau works at Cisco Systems in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, where he is a Technical Leader responsible for MPLS network management development. He leads a team that designs and develops MIBs and other management tools for Cisco’s routing and switching platforms. He also works on other network-management-related and MPLS-related architecture and activities at Cisco, such as the common optical control plane (GMPLS), COPS, Diff-Serv, L2/L3 VPN, traffic engineering, pseudo-wire emulation, and network operations and management in general.
