In this chapter, you saw guidelines for troubleshooting MPLS-based solutions. Most of these solutions require an end-to-end LSP between routers at the edge of the P-network. Therefore, checking this LSP with a trace command in combination with disabled TTL propagation is always a good starting point. Should you find that the LSP works as expected, focus on the troubleshooting of the solution that is deployed on top of the MPLS backbone; otherwise, fix the MPLS backbone first.
