Other Quick Checks

After you have verified that the LSP between PE routers is broken, you should perform a few more quick MPLS-related checks before you go into in-depth MPLS troubleshooting:

  • Is CEF enabled globally on every router in the path?

    You verify proper operation of CEF with the show ip cef summary monitoring command, which should produce a printout similar to the one shown in Example 9-4.
