All of the previous chapters in this book have discussed a variety of advanced or new Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS)-based applications, ranging from remote access, support of new routing protocols, and multi-virtual private network (VPN) operation of CE routers to the inclusion of new IP services within the MPLS VPN architecture, including security and IP multicast.
