14.1. Reference Software Modules
For each part of the standard (see Chapter 1) there exists one or more reference software modules [MPEG4-5]. The various modules in the reference software are listed in Table 14.1. As mentioned in the introduction to this chapter, some of the modules are normative whereas others are only informative. In this table, the normative modules are marked with an (N) symbol.
