Chapter 20. Threading and Unthreading Text Frames
What do you do when you have more text than can fit in one text frame? In this chapter, we’ll explain threading and unthreading text frames, which works more similarly to PageMaker than to QuarkXPress.
When you select a text frame with the Selection tool, you can see an in port at the upper left corner of the frame, and an out port on the lower right corner (see Figure 20-1). The in port of the first box in a thread is always empty. A red plus sign in the out port of a frame means there’s more text than can fit (the text is overset).
