Trouble in the Corner Office

I usually collect business success stories rather than stories of failures, but sometimes it is important to stop and look at what went wrong so as to learn from others' mistakes (instead of making our own!). Here is one such story that really caught my ear because it underscores the importance of attending to communications and using it as a positive management force, rather than just communicating in service of one's latest plans or goals.
