ACTION EXERCISES

1. Make a list of everything you do in the course of a month, and then ask the three magic questions of yourself with regard to your own list of tasks and activities. You should be absolutely clear about the three most important things that you do in the course of a day, week, or month.

2. Bring your staff members together and have all of them bring a list of their activities to the meeting. One by one, help them to clearly define the three most important things they do to make the most valuable contribution to the organization. From then on, encourage people to start and complete their most important tasks before they do anything else.
