Care About Your Staff

You express caring for your staff members when they tell you of a problem and you immediately stop and make an effort to help them to solve the problem in some way.

For example, I always tell my employees, “Children come first.” By this, I mean that if any of their children ever has a need or problem of any kind while they are at work, they can leave immediately to take care of the child without any deduction of pay or requirement to make up the time. For young mothers, this is one of the very best ways for an employer to show that you really care for them and the most important parts of their lives.
