Practice Management by Objectives

Management by objectives is one of the most powerful and consistent motivators in the world of work. It is a technique first described by Peter Drucker in Managing for Results. It refers to the practice of assigning a complete job to a competent individual and then allowing that individual to choose how to complete the task on schedule and on budget.
