As a powerful storytelling device, motion can be choreographed to communicate information, convey emotions, and express pure aesthetic beauty.

Early twentieth-century pioneers of experimental film and animation have proved that even with the most simple mundane shapes and images motion can deliver compelling and meaningful messages. Today, graphic designers regard motion as a fundamental component of their work.
