Chapter 11. Working with Particles

With particle systems you can create an incredible variety of animated effects—you can make realistic natural phenomena like smoke, fire, explosions, clouds, and water; pattern-based animations like schools of fish or flocks of birds; or abstract animated backgrounds. The real-time viewing capability of Motion combined with the large number and variety of preset particles systems makes working with these complex effects easy and immediately rewarding.
