Suspending a user's account

The end result of this procedure is that the user's authentication method is changed to no login:

  1. From the Administration menu on the left of the page, click on Site administration | Users | Accounts | Browse list of users. The Users page is displayed. On this page, you will search for the user.
  2. In the New filter area, enter all or part of the user's name.
  1. Click on the Add filter button. The user appears in the list at the bottom of the page.
  2. Next to the user's name, click on the Suspend user account icon. If you are unsure of which icon that is, hover over the icons until you see the name displayed, as seen in the following screenshot:
