Cohorts and groups give you powerful tools to manage your students. Cohorts are a useful tool to quickly enroll and unenroll large numbers of students. Groups enable you to separate students who are in the same course and give teachers the ability to quickly see only the students they are responsible for.

In the previous chapters, you saw how to add content and activities to your course. In this chapter, you learned how to use some tools to manage students in your course. In the next chapter, you will see how to extend your course using the functionality of blocks.
