Organization of research using the Database module

As students work through their design brief and other aspects of their design technology courses, they will be introduced to a range of materials and design concepts in order to give them the breadth of understanding to make the best possible designs themselves. These ideas and concepts need to be well organized so that they are easily accessible for the students. Many of the students' reports will be collections of paper-based resources and possibly even hard artifacts such as plastics or metals for reference, but all of the artifacts can be organized through the use of a database facility.
