Chapter 14. Mono and XML

IN THIS CHAPTER

In .NET, Microsoft has implemented a set of classes for working with XML and interfaces to it. Many common standards such as DOM, XPath, XSD, and XSLT are supported. Mono tries to support those standards as well and tries to implement Microsoft's classes as proposed by the .NET Framework. In addition, many classes have already been developed, so working with XML and Mono shouldn't cause too many problems.
