Mono and Security
In the near future, Mono will provide a fully .NET-compliant security concept. In the version of Mono this book is based on, only a few versions of basic classes are available, so it isn't possible to present real code yet. We hope that this will change soon. Because Mono is still in an early state, we've chosen not to include examples yet.
Currently, we do not recommend using the security mechanisms provided by Mono.
