From time to time, agents will report problems ranging from configuration mishaps to more complex issues, such as missing libraries. In this section, we will look at some of the most common causes and how to resolve them.
CHECK_NRPE: Error – Could not complete SSL handshake
The CHECK_NRPE: Error – Could not complete SSL handshake error is most commonly seen when using old NRPE agents in Opsview. By default, Opsview uses NRPE with SSL enabled so all exchanged data is encrypted.
To resolve this issue, simply install the required SSL libraries on the remote host and restart the agent, or replace it with the Opsview-agent.
