Summary
We have covered quite some ground here looking at the basics of host templates, host groups, and hosts, and how to organize them.
We covered service checks in all their possible forms, dependencies, and performance data. We used a great tool, Opspacks, for exporting and importing templates.
In the next chapter we will look at more advanced features that come with Opsview and can be used within our monitoring system.
