Designing the schema

Something that has been repeated several times during this book is the importance of knowing our data and what it will be used for. And now, more than ever, in this practical exercise we will design our schema step by step, considering every detail involved in this.

In the previous section, we defined the data set that we want to extract from the web server access logs. The next step is to list the requirements that are associated with the clients of the database.
