Database management privilege actions

Commands in this category deal with database user administration, including the ability to grant permissions. Examples of some of the more important privilege actions are listed here:

  • changePassword: Grants the ability to change user passwords
  • createCollection, createIndex, createRole, and createUser: Ability to create collections, indexes, roles, and users
  • dropDatabase, dropCollection, dropRole, and dropUser: Ability to remove collections, indexes, roles, and users
