Road, rail, bus, car... all travel comes with a cost and the cost is rising. In spring 2013 the AA claimed that spiralling fuel prices were forcing drivers off the road. Rail fares for season ticket holders increased by an average of 4.2% when the latest fares increase hit in January 2013.
