Fighting styles

Depending on the financial terrain and who you’re pitting your skills against, you may need to adopt different techniques. Money Fight Club members are skilled in all of them.

Face-to-face combat

This is the essential fighting style for those initial skirmishes in shops, supermarkets, at the bank counter, or down the garage.

The first rule of face-to-face combat is – stay calm. If you get angry, chances are the person you’re talking to will get angry too, or call security, or refuse to speak to you any further (including call centre operatives, who will drop your call).
