Aliases

The standard set of aliases recreates the familiar behavior of the other command-line shells and ensures a consistent baseline experience for any MSH shell. Each alias maps to a standard cmdlet or defined function.

Note that some of these aliases (e.g., sc) may hide certain other applications present on your system. To run an external program, call it with its file extension (e.g., sc.exe) to make the distinction.

Some of the new aliases for commonly used commands are identified in bold.
