Chapter 9. Organize

When creating a component library, you must ensure that designers and stakeholders can find and use components during the design process. Just as important, a librarian must be prepared to manage what can become a growing collection. Invariably the conversation turns to how best to organize a library for the long term.

Adopting sound organizational principles enables the team to do the following:

  • Refer to items in a precise and succinct way in discussions, plans, screen designs, tests, assessments, and documentation.
