Signal Processing

Signal processing has become an increasingly important part of modern audio and music production. It’s the function of a signal processor to change, augment, or otherwise modify an audio signal in either the analog or digital domain. Before we delve into the various types of effects devices and functional applications that are available in audio production, it’s important that we first cover a few basic device types and applications that are near and dear to the process of sculpting sound into forms that are subtle, lush, or just plain whimsical and wacky.
