Mixing is an important step in the production process that allows you to polish your audio into a final “mix.” While most of your levels and sound placement happens at the data level in the sequencer, the mix phase adds another round of processing that includes the following elements: level adjustment, placement in the stereo field, dynamics processing, spectral processing, time-based effects, and automation.
