I recall, some years ago, sitting in an auditorium after hearing a very inspiring and personally challenging message. As I was basking in the warm glow of inspired thought, the speaker said something that I have never been able to forget. He said, “The deep things in life are the simple things, profoundly experienced.” As everyone was furiously scribbling this profound statement in their seminar booklets, I was internalizing the importance of this thought.
