13. Sharing Clinical Knowledge Among Physicians in the Same Specialty Practice Group

Abstract

This chapter argues that physicians should share clinical knowledge with their colleagues in the same specialty practice group to improve health-care delivery performance. We propose a research model based on the theory of planned behavior to explore the contributing factors and performance consequences of knowledge-sharing behaviors.
