12. Dimensions of Patient Care Quality: An Empirical Framework

Abstract

We offer a comprehensive instrument to measure patient care quality (PCQ), which captures various aspects of health-care services that patients receive in full-service hospitals in the United States. The proposed PCQ dimensions were empirically validated using an online survey and confirmatory factor analysis. Research and managerial implications are also discussed.
