Conclusion

The development of present-day telecommunication networks is closely related to the increased tendency to combine services provided by traditional telecommunication networks and computer networks. This ongoing convergence of the network is accompanied by a growing need for a further development of methods for managing multi-service traffic.

Modern mobile telecommunication networks consist of many parallel systems operating in different frequency bands (GSM900, GSM 1800, different frequencies in UTRAN), and are built in varied technologies (GSM, UMTS Release 1999, HSPA).

The service of traffic in networks is also involved in business solutions that allow other clients to use network services provided by one company (a good example of the above is roaming across different group networks within one country). Such a complex level of development of mobile networks indicates how important an efficient formulation of a traffic allocation strategy in these systems is. Technological solutions allow us to execute these tasks precisely, both at the level of different frequency ranges of the same system, and at the level of Inter Radio Access Technology (InterRAT) the idea of transmitting signals and data. It should not be forgotten, though, that this kind of parametrization of network systems should be preceded by a strategy worked out by an operator, and then by the precise physical design of a network following this strategy. The changable market situation, combined with a reduction ...
