About the Authors

Antony Ward

Since the days when stipple was king, Antony Ward has grown with the game development and computer graphics industries, adapting his skills to match the increasing thirst for polygons. During the past 16 years, Antony has led teams, developed workflows, and trained staff in some of today’s leading game development studios, all while continuing to share new techniques with people all over the world. During this time, he also wrote two successful technical manuals: Game Character Development in Maya(2004) and Game Character Development (2008). Both have been popular among the cg community and have since been translated into many different languages, including Chinese.
