Abstract

Business architecture has defined the way in which the enterprise must be organized and must function. It has initiated data architecture at a conceptual level. It defines requirements of the information system and a context enabling expected IS evolutions to be determined. Application architecture identifies IS components and their interactions in order to meet business architecture expectations, while guaranteeing overall consistency and respecting the rules of an architectural framework.
