Meetings documentation

Many meetings take place in business, and an effective meeting is an efficient tool in the communication process. Meetings provide a useful opportunity for sharing information, making suggestions and proposals, taking decisions and obtaining instant feedback.

While meetings are becoming less formal, it’s still important for the appropriate paperwork to be dealt with and for the minutes to be recorded accurately.

Many meetings may be held in business, for example:

  • Apologies for absence
  • Approve minutes of last meeting
  • Matters arising from last meeting
  • List of issues to be discussed
  • Any other business
  • Details of next meeting
