Design Analysis

3.1 Introduction

In colleges and universities the world over, young engineering students are taught the basics of design analysis. So much of our curricula are oriented toward teaching the analytical methods necessary for students to gain an understanding of the fundamental principles that govern physical systems. In the electronics world, this translates into Kirchhoff’s voltage and current laws (i.e., KVL and KCL), energy conservation, and the governing equations of the basic elementary devices in electrical circuits.
